Sophie Chaudhary I am a greedy young girl

Sophie Chaudhary loves all things glamorous. "My father adored the Italian actor," shares the former VJ, who now alternates between singing, acting and anchoring shows.

Ever since she won the MTV Style award, Chaudhary has ensured she fits her role to a tee. "Having being brought up in London, I would always dress up and loved walking around in heels. When I came to Mumbai, everyone would ask me whether I was headed out for a party all day long," says Chaudhary.

Interestingly, she credits her affinity to fashion to her mother. "My mom's my biggest style icon. She taught me to be fashionable. I remember, as a child she would lug an array of bags, one for clothes, one for shoes, even on the shortest of trips," she recalls.

Chaudhary says her fashion sensibility is more classic than bling. "I don't like to go over the top. I admire the likes of Beyonce Knowles, Sarah Jessica Parker for their elegant take on fashion," admits Chaudhary, who however, advices wannabe fashionistas to work on their own individual statement. "It's okay to be inspired, but being original is what fashion is all about. I don't follow trends blindly. It's important to be comfortable and stylish at the same time," she shrugs.

She had once famously remarked that only Shah Rukh Khan and sex sells in Bollywood but actress Neha Dhupia is now tired of the 'sexy' tag, which she believes has worked against her.

The former Miss India, who started her Bollywood journey with bold roles in 'Qayamat' and 'Julie', feels that despite having done some very serious roles, she has not been taken seriously in the industry because of her 'sexy' image.

'I sincerely believe that the term 'sexy' is always used against me,' Neha Dhupia said. But then again, she plays the role of a hot and happening 'Sophia' who is so full of poise in her upcoming flick 'Raat Gayi Baat Gayi'. She looks stunning in the promotional trailers.

She hit the headlines recently when she agreed to go topless for a cause. She has done a series of calendar shorts as a part of a Go Green initiative launched by Franchise India Holdings Ltd, an integrated franchise solution company.

The actress had to work hard to get over the 'Julie' nickname that she earned for herself after a dare bare portrayal of a prostitute in the namesake film in 2004.

'I strongly believe that my biggest flaw is that I am sexy. Just because of that, it is always safely presumed that I would be busy out there seducing people on screen,' she says.

The 29-year-old star, however, is happy about the compliments that she has received for her recent success in comic caper 'De Dana Dan'.

She is also looking forward to audience reaction towards her forthcoming release 'Raat Gayi Baat Gayi'. Even though she has a couple of Hollywood assignments, she says she would prefer to stay back in India.
