Dusky beauty Bipasha Basu[More hot Photos], who's always seen as a sex symbol, will be seen in an off beat film Pankh.
The actress in one of her interviews said that she would want to maintain a balance between commercial and art house cinema, that's the reason she said yes to Pankh. In the film, Bips plays an imaginary character.She is an 'alter ego of the protagonist Jerry.
Jerry, who is pushed too hard by his parents, gets into his own world and falls in love with this woman named Nandini. Bipasha is the fantasy woman who Jerry conjures up in his head. Nandini (Bips name) taunts him, fights with him, questions his every move.
The film highlights the common practice in the Indian film industry of casting children in role contrary to their natural genders.
Bipasha also said that it is a crazy role and many would even question the fact that why did she ever agree on doing this role, but the actress feels she wanted to do it.
The Bong bombshell would even be seen seducing her 22-year-old co-star in the film directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyay.
Bipasha is also doing Rituparno Ghosh’s Bengali film Shab Choritro Kalpanik where she plays Prasenjit Chatterjee’s wife who falls in love with her husband after his death.
